IPMA International Project Excellence Award Assessors Training in Nepal Completed with Outstanding Outcome
In coordination with the Award Management Board, Project Management Association of Nepal (PMAN) successfully organized the 3-day International PE Award Assessors Trainings between March 30th and April 1st, 2012 at Technical Institute for Technical Instruction (TITI), Sano Thimi, Bhaktapur. Total of 22 project managers participated in the training, including participants from Malaysia, Poland, Germany and India.
The Project Excellence model that IPMA utilizes was new to many participants. They were very pleased with the outcome because newly acquired knowledge on the model and the developed skills-set can now be used for their own organizations, companies and agencies, respectively. In addition, the participants are also eligible for becoming the IPMA assessors for the projects that are or will be applied for Excellence Award this year.
The trainers were Mr. Bryan Cracknell (UK, based at Malaysia now), Mr. Suraj Dahal (Nepal) and Grzegorz Szałajko (Poland). Ms. Ewa Bednarczyk was also present during the training representing IPMA Award Office.
All participants passed the training test. Bravo! IPMA Award Office will shortlist the potential assessors based on the recommendations provided by PMAN. The training concluded with cocktail dinner at Buzz Cafe and Restaurant, Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
